Around exams is when I started screwing up and skipping workouts. Then my schedule got insane with work and 2 internships, THEN I moved. Now I’m all settled in and today is my first official day back on track. My new building has a gym and pool and I’m about to go swim and workout for the second time today! I did a full grocery shop last night and I’ve been eating well all day.
Just because I messed up doesn’t mean I’m gonna give up. Just have to restart (unfortunately..) but I can do this!
I added in some ingredients that seem weird, but the flavour stayed almost exactly the same and it’s great!
I had Vega after workout chocolate shake and added:
- Vanilla coconut milk
- 1 banana
- 2 large strawberries
- A handful of spinach
- Cinnamon
- Cayenne pepper
- Caocao nibs
SO GOOD! It just tastes like a chocolate&banana shake, but has some extra nutrients!
Not gonna weigh myself for a while. I don’t want the number to define me, and as much as I try to convince myself as I’m stepping on the scale that the number doesn’t matter, it still upsets me once I see it.
I’m just gonna focus on getting 100% back on track and work my ass off. I’ll weigh myself once I start feeling confident the number is changing, hopefully in a few weeks.
I want to, for once in my life, be confident with how I look, and feel great about myself. I have to get there. This is just so hard.
Tips and advice is always welcome!
My roommate’s scale is saying I gained 7lbs….. I’ve never weighed myself on it before so I don’t know if I should trust it or not. I haven’t weighed myself at the gym for about a month, so I really hope it’s not possible that I gained 7lbs on that scale as well….
I definitely slipped up lately, but I think 7lbs seems like a bit too much, not to mention DEMOLISHES my recent progress….
I really, really, really need to make changes. I feel so stuck. I don’t want to look or feel like this anymore. HELP!
Feels so good!
I drank tons of water, ate mostly fruits and vegetables, got a ton of healthy groceries (no dairy!), and had a good workout at the gym. Definitely feeling much less bloated and groggy now and I’m ready to keep this up! 2 weeks off track felt way too long.
