Now that I finally have a job, I think my first couple paycheques will contribute to buying workout equipment for at home workouts and workout clothes. Also, possibly some higher priced health products and whatnot that I normally wouldn’t buy. I need to start focusing on this more. Again, having a job now, I need to be more productive with my time whenever I’m not at work or school. It forces me to be more disciplined and organized, which requires me to set aside time for homework, workouts, cooking, etc. Instead of saying, “I’ll do it later,” I need to be more strict because there are smaller time slots for me to be doing important things. So even though I’m more busy now, I’m definitely needing to be more useful with my time, which is exactly what I need.
I worked out for the first time in ages tonight. It was just a blogilates video, but it was still a workout! I want to try to do one video a day and I want to start Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred asap. Also, I have a skipping rope I need to start using, a school gym membership I need to take advantage of and legs that need to start jogging again.
My eating habits have been so-so. My days are usually half healthy and half unhealthy. My breakfast is usually eggs and whole wheat toast, then I somehow always end up at Tim Hortons buying a bagel and coffee (officially quitting my coffee habit as of now) and the occasional boston cream donut at lunch. It’s not as unhealthy as other fast food places, but I still need to stop buying it to save money and calories. Also, as I’ve said before, I want to go vegan eventually, which should make my eating habits much, much better.
So, basically, I think that having less free hours in my days is a good thing. It’s forcing me to make better use of the day and lessens the allowance of procrastination. Yay for new lifestyles!
I’m vegetarian and want to try out being vegan for a month and see how it goes and hopefully continue after! Do you have any tips/recipes/recommendations for sites/books for me?! Also if any of you have tried the 4 week diet plan at the end of Skinny Bitch, is it good? I also need to not spend a ton of money on products so I definitely need recommendations :)
